Each flight will have an adult chaperone who will communicate with all parents via WhatsApp before the flight. This chaperone will communicate meeting points, flight updates, and camp arrival. Once the campers arrive at their respective airport, camp staff will pick up the campers and bring them directly up to camp on a coach bus.
Please Note: We will not allow checked luggage for our Florida campers traveling on the flight. You must use CTD or another shipping company of your choice (e.g. UPS, FedEx, Lugless).
Our Dallas and California campers will be allowed to check bags. For all trunks, we recommend utilizing item trackers such as apple airtags to properly keep track of your luggage.
Tickets NOT purchased with Camp Lavi
If you choose to book tickets on your own, we will not be able to add your child to the chaperone’s ticket due to the airline’s chaperone supervision requirements and limits.
Second Session Transportation to Camp

Additional Info
We’d like to bring your attention to the wonderful variety of options available in camp for those who are interested (of course keeping in mind that none of these are required):
- Canteen (and Trip Day) Funding
You will be able to deposit money directly into your camper’s canteen account online both before and during the summer. You will also be able to view the account throughout the summer. If you want your child to be able to take some money with them on camp trip days they will be able to make that request through the canteen. As long as there are enough funds in the account to fulfill the request, your child will receive the trip spending money for the day.
You can deposit money into your camper’s Canteen Account so that they can purchase items in the canteen. Please make sure to do this before they arrive at camp. You can Pre-Approve a camper’s account for auto-replenishing. This can be found in the Camper Info Form. You can also add money throughout the summer to their canteen account online if they are running low. (Suggested initial funding amount for a Full Session is $100 and for a single Session is $50.)
You will be contacted by email during the summer if their canteen account is getting low and Pre-Approval to fund the account has not been given. (This has the potential to cause a delay and we therefore encourage parents to utilize the Pre-Approval process.)
To deposit money in your camper’s accounts, go to your CampInTouch account. Click on View Accounts to add money to the canteen accounts using your payment method on file. At the end of the summer, if there is a remaining balance it will be refunded to the main account.
- Gatorade and Water
(a) Gatorade: Please fill out the order form in your CampInTouch account. A case of Red/Blue Gatorade is $36. To order a case of Gatorade in advance, please fill out the Gatorade Pre-Order form located in your CampInTouch account. You have the ability to Pre-Approve a camper’s account for auto-replenishing Gatorade and water when they request a new case. This can be found in the Camper Info Form. (Your camper will be able to request an additional case and the order will only be fulfilled if Pre-Approval has been given.)
(b) Water: To ensure campers have plenty of water throughout the summer, each bunk will receive cases of bottled water on opening day. They’ll also have access to our convenient water coolers located around camp to refill a reusable water bottle. Campers can also purchase ($1) cold bottled water from our vending machines. If your camper wishes to order a case of water during the summer they will be able to fill out a form at the HC to submit their order. You have the ability to Pre-Approve a camper’s account for auto-replenishing Gatorade and water when they request a new case. This can be found in the Camper Info Form. (Your camper will be able to request an additional case and the order will only be fulfilled if Pre-Approval has been given.)
- Stay in Touch! With summer just around the corner, here are a few helpful ways to stay in touch with your campers this summer:
- Campstamps (aka emailing your Camper): This gives parents the ability to email their camper and even opt to have their camper return a handwritten email back! You can purchase these in your CampInTouch account, by clicking the Email option. Emailed Letters (via Camp Stamps) are printed out and delivered to the campuses daily. Replies are sent home nightly. Parents can request that their Campers reply to the e-letter received while writing the initial e-letter. All incoming and outgoing e-letters require a purchase of Camp Stamps through the CampInTouch system.

- Parties and Onegs
Throughout the summer parents may be interested in sponsoring a party for their campers. Parents have the option to do this via a Pizza, Sushi or Ice Cream Party, or a Shabbos Oneg, which can be for their camper’s bunk or division. Feel free to utilize the Pizza/IceCream/Sushi/Oneg Form to take advantage of this. Don’t forget to fill in the Memo field with instructions.
- Private Instruction
If you are interested in setting up Private Instruction lessons or tutoring (tennis, hockey, chess, basketball, bar mitzvah laining, bat mitzvah learning, english, math, hebrew, gymnastics, dance, sports conditioning… or any other that you request) to help your child improve in a specific area of interest, please fill out the Private Lessons/Tutoring Form. These sessions are optional and are charged separately. PLEASE NOTE: No Junior Staff member should ever contact you offering private lessons and all lessons must be arranged through the main office through the Lessons form on CampInTouch.
Snack Policy
